Can care staff needs be fully supported—and even surpassed—without adding to their already heavy routines?

Singapore is on track to become a super-aged society by 2030, where 1 in 4 citizens will be over 65.

Aged care facilities are under increasing pressure to care for more residents with limited staff capacity.

(2/5) PROBLEM

(2/5) PROBLEM

To keep up, many facilities are adopting new technologies. Yet these often have the opposite effect: instead of easing workloads, they add complexity, create steep learning curves, and fail to meet the needs of both staff and residents.

Care workers are left juggling multiple tools while still managing demanding, hands-on responsibilities.

We designed a multimodal system designed to address key challenges in nursing homes, shifting from manual to automated processes.

We designed a multimodal system designed to address key challenges in nursing homes, shifting from manual to automated processes.

By combining a mobile web app, body-worn cameras, AI-powered monitoring, and radar technology, we shifted key processes from manual to automated—reducing time pressures and enabling staff to focus on compassionate, individualized care.
